Bring boots you don't mind ruining.

Leocor Farms is run entirely by volunteers. If you can carry a water bucket, hold a lead rope, or drive a fence post, there is a place for you here.

Barn & feeding crew

One shift per week

Morning and evening feeding, water checks, stall and shelter cleaning, hay moving. The backbone of everything.

Flexible

Brushing, hoof picking, leading horses to and from turnout, and holding for the farrier or vet. Training provided.

Seasonal work days

Fence repair, brush clearing, gate hardware, drainage, and mowing. Bring gloves; we'll bring the post driver.

Project-based

Carpentry, tractor operation, welding, bookkeeping, photography, and grant writing all directly reduce our costs.

Before you come

No. Most volunteer work is teachable in an afternoon, and you will always be paired with someone experienced before handling a horse.

Volunteers 16 and older can work independently. Younger helpers are welcome alongside a parent or guardian.

Closed-toe boots, long pants, and layers you don't mind ruining. Weather here does not negotiate.

We are a working sanctuary, not a petting zoo, so we schedule visits individually to keep stress on the herd low. Email us and we'll find a time.
